BROAD NATIONAL INTERESTS

LONDON, February 16
In the House of Lords, Viscount Morley, Lord President of the Council, in reply to a question by Lord Nunburnholme, said the British Government was resolved not to yield to Russia regarding the proposed White Sea prohibition.
Lord Morley added that besides the fisheries, question, broad national interests were involved, interests which must be safeguarded, otherwise they might be most seriously affected in time of war.
