The results were a j reversal of last night's, tost piece, j as Wanganui headed all bands with, 244£ points, and Wellington Garrison came'last in the "A" Grade with 192 points, and ninth in the combined "A" and- "B" Grade lists, j The results We're: "A" GRADE.— Wanganui Garrison, 246 points; Waihi Federal, Westport Garrison, '235; Petone Municipal, 231; Palnierston N., 215; Wellington Garrison, 192. -B" GRADE.— Ashburton Temperance, 234; Wellington Tramway, 208; Taranaki Garrison, 192*; Waitara Municipal, 190; Gisborne City, 187 J-; Onehunga Municipal, 182; Marton Royal, 1755; Marton Junction, 173 A. The first ten:''bands thus finished:— Wanganui 246, Waihi 244}, Westport 235,'Ashburton 234, Petone 231, Palmerston N. 215, Wellington Tramway 208,'Taranaki 192}, Wellington Garrison 192, Waitara 190. -r-B-flat cornet- solo.— Fourteen competed. This was decided-, to-night, the leaders being Berryman, Westport Garrison, 72; Goodall, "Wellington Tramways, 67; McGrath (Wanganui Garrison), Richards (Taranaki Garrison), and Jones (Petone Municipal), all 62; Sheriff (Wanganui), '6O. The judge said that if Goodall's' tempo had been better the two first. would have had to play off.
