SOLWAY PARK.
(To the Editor.) Sir, — The suggestion, of Mr O. Pragnell, that the public of Masterton should suitably recogniße the splendid efforts of those gentlemen who were responsible for obtaining Solway Park, is in niy opinion a right, one, and no time should be lost in putting it into effect. - T* think that the Mayor should convene. a public meeting of all, interested' in the project. Failing'-the'Masor, Mr Pragnell might, do so, as mover. The Sorway Syndicate would not object to say a Tea Kiosk or •some other structure of a permanent nature as a memento. No doubt a large number of people would contribute, if they had an opportunity of doing so.— I am, etc., J. C. EWINGTON.
