THE CROWN AND NATIVES. A meeting of Natives interested in the Waitutuma Blocks, near Cape Palliser, which the Crown has offered to purchase at prices ranging from 5&. 6d to 20s per acre, was held in the Masterton Courthouse on Saturday morning. The natives agreed to selltwo of the blocks (comprising over 12,000 acres), but declined to accept the price offered by the Government.
