The boys' open handicap was won by Leslie Donald, and the gft-lS' open handiest by Myrtle "Watson. _ne naildriving for ladies was won by Mrs Governor. The generosity of the parents and friends of tjie school children enabled the committee 10 provide good prizes for the sports , events, and to present-to each- child a--.beautiful book.,- Besides the mittee's gifts of books the following - special' prizes \vere presented:—Mc- : Leod and Young's for Navy League composition, Isa Jones 1, Geo.' Hun-' i ter, 2; special,attendance prize, Sid'ney Cooper; sewing prizes: senior, Muriel Douglas, special, Myrtle Haxhinior: Marjory Lee, special, Myrtle' Watson. The consolation races closed an enjoyable day's outing', for which thanks are due to the generous donors and workers.
