A LICENSING CASE.

A decision under the Licensing Act, which affects Masterton as well as other No-license .areas, was given by Mr Justice Williams at Dunedin yesterday. The learned Judge held that a brewer, in sending liquor into a No-license district, must notify the Clerk of the Court simultaneously. This will settle a point upon which there has been a striking divergence of opinion among Magistrates.
