GREAT RECEPTION IN DUNEDIN (By Telegraph—Special to the Age.) DUNEDIN, Last Night. Miss Amy Castles received a tremendous ovation at her opening concert here last night. The theatre was crowded in all parts/ Her success was electrical. The enthusiasm only culminated when the young singer was recalled a dozen times, Tand bowed her acknowledgment amidst a profusion of floral tributes, finally responding with "Home Sweet Home." Cheer on cheer • resounded through the building, and tears welled in the eyes of the majority present. The supporting artists received a great reception.
