A FAREWELL MESSAGE.
FROM MR KlDS'x'ON. Received This Morning, 12.35 o'clock BRISBANE, February 8. Mr Kidston, who has resigned the Premiership of Queensland and accepted a position on the Land Board at £IOOO per year, in a farewell message to the people said ho felt that it was not well for a progressive young State that the. same man should remain at the head of affairs too long. Queensland should have a succession of young men pushing her ahead. H© had been associated with a great and progressive policy, and left it for younger . and more active men to continue.
