LONDON, February 6. Professor David, of Sydney, delivered a lecture at Oxford University, on the Antarctic. He dwelt on Sir Ernest Shackleton's heroism in sledging 89 miles in three days, and the rescuing of Marshall. Oxford University will confer the Doctorship of Science on Professor David on Tuesday.
