A FATAL SUPPER.
TWO GUESTS DIE.

LONDON, February 5. •'/ 'Mr Hutchinson,' a resident of Dalkeith, Scotland, gave a supper party 'to'"Sixteen friends. After coffee had ■been partaken of the members of the party became seriously ill, and Mr Hutchinson and a guest died.
(The above case 'brings to memory a tragic affair which occurred in the Wairarapa some years back. A wedding had been celebrated at Pahiatua, and after partaking of the wedding breakfast nearly tlie whole of the guests became ill. Three of them—including Mr Peter Dickson,, a Masterton tradesman—succumbed. The remaiuder recovered. That tragedy still remains shrouded in mystery.) ,
