LLOYD-GEORGE'S HEALTH.

(Received February 6, 3.20 a.m.)

LONDON, February 5. The newspaper Observer, in contradicting a rumour that Mr LloydGeorge, Chancellor of tha Exchequer, was suffering from malignant throat trouble, says that Mr Lloyd-George addressed ■* open-air meetings in Scotland, with his chest wrapped in cotton-wool. He ought to have been in bed instead of on the platform, and was now paying the price of his indiscretion. The paper adds that his friends hope that he will be able to shortly" resume his place in the House of Commons.
