, Yesterday morning Major-General Godley (Commandant. of, the Forces) attended by Colonel Robin (Adjut-ant-General of ine x orces) and: tain Spencer-Smith (Staff Officer to the Commandant) went up to the training camp at Tauherenikau for the purpose of ascertaining the progress .which the officers* have made during the month they have been in training. Major-General Godley returas to Wellington this afta.noor.
