VIOLENT ATTACK ON JUDGE .' SIM. THREATENED INDUSTRIAL UPHEAVAL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Last Night. The action of the Arbitration Court in throwing out the application in the shearers' hands dispute : in' Canterbury last November, has led to a violent attack on the President of the- Court by the Otago Trades and Labour Council. In a letter to the Minister of Labour, the Council charges Judge Sim with inconsistency and unfairness to the workers, and quotes'several cases in support of its contention. In concluding,' the Council says:—"lf tho Government does not do something in the matter, there will be a danger of a big .industrial upheaval.'' The Minister in reply, says that the matter of shed hands will be considered when amendments to the Arbitration considered. '
