EVIDENCE AT THE INQUEST. CONTRADICTORY STATEMENTS. ■(Received January 31, 9.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, January 30. Miller and' Clare have made directly contradictory statements. Each accused the other of plotting and committing the murders. The intention was to shoot Mrs Warby, make Miss Warby sign cheques, then shoot her, place the bodies in the house, burn it, and afterwards go to town and spend the cheques.
