SHIPPING DISASTER
A STEAMER GROUNDS. BOAT-LOAD OF PASSKNGEBS MISSING. Received This Morning, 12.30 o'clock. The Pacific Coast Steamship Company's steamer Cottage City, bound from Seattle to Skagway, grounded at Cape Mudge, British Columbia, in a blinding snowstorm. The passengers escaped in boats, and the vessel sank. Some of the passengers have landed at the light-house. t One boat-load is missing, and it is feared that they have met with disaster. •
