Major-Genoral Godley, Commandant of the Forces, left for the south last night on a visit of inspection. Mr Thomas Marshment, an old and respected resident of Wellington, died on Tuesday at tho age of sixty. Messrs F. M. B. Fisher, M.P., G. Ollivier and H. M.
