WEDDING.
| McCORD—RIDDLE. A quiet but pretty wedtimg was celebrated at the Presbyterian Church, Pahiatua,' yesterday, when Mr Edmund McCord, of Masterton, and Miss Janet Riddle, eldest daughter of Mr Thomas Rxddle, of Palxia/tua, formerly of Masterton, were united in the bonds of matrimony. | The bride, who was given away by her father, was maiTied in hex* travelling dress, a navy blue costume. She also wore a white hat, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet. Miss Annie Riddle was and was prettily-attiied in a cream chiffon taffeta dress, with hat to match- Mr P.-Sifaith, of Masterton, i was best man, and the ceremony I was performed by the Rev. Mr Miles, ; of Pahiatua. A reception was held at the residence of the bride's parents, when a large number of guests were entertained, and congratulatory speeches were made and the usual toasts .honoured. Mr and Mrs McCord left by motor car for Wanganui, where they inj tend spending their honeymoon.
