THE CORONATION.
The Prime Minister states that no invitations 'have been received for members of the New Zealand Parliament to attend the Coronation festivities. If this statement be correct, then the Dominion would appear . .to have been - treated' alnjost with contempt. ~ The : Parliament of Canada- is talking of going to London in a body. India is, sending a great contingent. The Commonwealth of Australia will be represented by a number of ; politicians, Jg>.essides "a military.,contingent; Africa; will send numerous members of/ the Union-, Parliament together with ' a contingent- > Can it. be that these oversea possessions have received invitations, and oiuit New Zealand has been, overlook ed? .Or is it to be assumed that the'"Colonial Office regards Sir Joseph, Wiard as a sufficient representative in himself, and is j desirous of paying him a great compliment?
