RIFLE SHOOTING.

A TRIANGULAR MATCH. • The first triangular match of the season between Tararua, Mauriceville and Alfredton Clubs was firea at Mauriceville on Saturday last. The day was.probably the worst experi-, enced on the range for some -seasons past, many of the best trained having to be content with filling in the lower ranks of the score sheets. The match was a very close one. Tararua, who gained an early lead, 'finished with a majority of seven points from Mauriceville. Following were the scores:—
