Messijs Diugety and Company, Ltd. , have received c#le advice from tlieir London House dated 18th and 19th inst. regarding the following markets: Wool : Sales continue more animated, orossbrods, fine quality, 5 percent lower as compared with closing rates last series. Sheepskins Merino: Prices are lower by -Jd per lb. Crossbred : Prices are lower by $d to 2d per lb. Tallow Low and inferior descriptions are par to 3d per cwt higher, other descriptions 6d per cwt high- , er. There is an increasing demand formutton. Frozen Meat Lamb: Prices | are Jd to -£d lower. We quote—New < Zealand, prime, Canterbury, light, 6d per lb; North Island, light, s|d 'to--sgd, Australian, fair demand. Mutton : Very poor demand owing to a large supply. Prices unchanged. Beef: Rather better demand owing to small supply. -Jd lb higher.
