PARK FETE DAY
—•,—-^ —.—, • .. A COMPREHENSIVE' PROGRAMME. The preliminary announcement in connection with the Park Fete Day, appears in another column. A very comprehensive programme is submitted, including various, swimming events, running,for amateurs and professionals, fire decorated ladies' and gent's bicycles, ta'ndems, decorated and driven four-in-hand, decorated go-carts, boats, motor cycles, and motor cars; motor car and cycling competitions, and the event of the day—a baby show. The poster competition is sure to prove an attraction, and comic costumes on bicycles will acul more merriment. The Maoris, under Messrs Puhara and Tai te Tail, will provide two or more events. Altogether the programme is -a most ambitious one, and ought to result in a substantial sum being raised.
