AMATEUR ATHLETIC MEETING AT CARTERTON.

It was unanimously decided to form a branch of the Wairarapa Amateur Athletic Club in Carterton, with a view to ultimately forming a separate Club there. Members of the Wairarapa Executive who were present stated that it was the intention of the Club to hold a Wairarapa Championship meeting some time this season, and promised ,to use their influence to have the meeting held in Carterton. It was unanimously decided to hold a sports meeting in Carterton shortly,' and ,to call a public meeting at once to further this project, ■'.".;;'■'.' ''■;, Mr Is.
