SUPPOSED SERIOUS SITUATION. WARSHIPS UNDER SEALED ORDERS. Received This Morning, 12.40 o'clock LONDON, January 17. The Daily News' Rome correspondent declares that the battleship Roma and the cruiser Liguria sailed under sealed orders. It is now known that their destination is Portugal. This is interpreted to mean that the situation is somewhat serious.
