ESCAPED PRISONERS

RUN TO EARTH. CHARGES OF BREAKING AND ENTERING. (Received Last Night, 9 o'clock.) SYDNEY, January 16. Mace and Denmead, the two prisoners who escaped from the Darlinghurst Gaol, have been recaptured, and appeared 'before the Court today. In applying for a remand, the police stated that a fresh charge of breaking and entering, since the escape, would be laid. On the way to the station, one of the men'attempted to dispose of a watch, supposed to be part of the proceeds of the city robbery on Thursday night.
