COMMANDER PEARY.
RECORDS NOT "'FAKED.'

NEW YORK. January 12
The Congressional Committee has concluded its investigation of the claims of Commander Peary to having reached the North Pole. Several members of the Committee expressed the opinion that the records had not been "faked."
An expert geodetic suveyor examined Commander Peary's documents, and testified that in last March lie must have passed within one mile rf the actual Pole.
