AUCKLAND WOOL SALES.
AUCKLAND, Last Night;
The second wool- sale of- the season took place to-day, when 7300 ■ bales were offered, of tn fair quality, but noti quite up to that at the first sale. In sympathy with the sales in the South, prices showed a drop of from a farthing, to a penny per lb. s Competition was not very keen. A large proportion of the wool was passed in, most likely for shipment direct. , . 1 ' v
