BRITAIN'S ASSENT REQUIRED

LONDON, Last Night.
The Times' St. Petersburg correspondent reports that Russia will require Great Britain to assent to the German demands regarding the central and southern zones in Persia before signing an agreement. . The newspaper Novoe Vremya accuses German diplomats of publishing an untrue version of the negotiations, with a, view to sowing mistrust in the Triple Entente. GERMAN PRESS OPINIONS. THE BAG-bAIT RAILWAY. Received This Morning, 12.30 o'clock BERLIN, January 11. The newspaper Vossiche. Zeitung has modified .its' yesterday's attack in regard to the Bagdad Railway. It now says that'a solution of, the problem/lies in the nationalization of the, line.- English predominance;in Persia should be- confined to the Gulf; and coasts. The Berlin Post declares that the terminus of the railway is essentially Turkish territory. England | .must settle, not with Germany, but with Russia and Turkey.
