MASTERTON COURTHOUSE.
FRESH TENDERS TO BE CALLED
| The Evening Post of last night I says:—"The difficulty that occurred , in connection with the tenders for the erection of a new Courthouse at Masterton has not yet been settled. Af*ter tenders had been sent in the Government acceded to a request by the Borough Council to give up a portion of the site for street-widening purposes. This involved some alteration in the plans, and the lowest tenderer has now decided that he will not stand by his original tender, and the department has decided to call for fresh tenders on the amended specifications."
