TIMARU HARBOUR BOARD.
TIMARU, Last Night. The returns tor the Harbour Soard for itie past year snow ordinary revenue £IOOO more than the previous year, .and a record. The harbour rate collected added £8203, while imports were 84,786 tons, an increase of 6300 tons. Exports amounted t0'87,536 tons, 7000 tons less than the year l before. The decroass is chiefly duo to the small shipment of oats. Eight hundred and four thousand carcases . ' of meat were exported, and wool 4 ex- _, ported amounted to 41,] 30 bales, a record. The value of the imports and exports is —.1,600,000 plus the " v unascertained values of the Dominion trade rating. The valuation or the harbour district increased by £lbJ> 000, and now stands at £10,500,000.
