THE VANCOUVER SERVICE.
i Sir James Mills, who is on a visit Ito the Commonwealth, states that the question of the Vancouver mail service must remain in abeyance for the time being. It is quite apparent,, therefore, that the movement' made in Sydney to new, service has more behind it "than appears on the surface. The visit to New Zealand of Commonwealth visitors may clear the way to an adjustment ct the differences which exist. Meanwhile Auckland will require to con-, tent itself in patience.
