The Marlborough Lawn Tennis Tournament, was successfully concluded to-day. , In the semi-final for the Ladies' Handicap Singles", "'Miss Niinnelly, owing 15, vanquished Miss Brewster,> receiving 12, by 50—45. - Griffiths,-receiving 20, gained a very creditable win from Brown, owing 10, in the final for the Men's Handicap Singles, by 80—74. In the Combined Championship, Miss Travers .and Fisher prevailed against Miss-Nunnelly and Brown in the first game by :6—l. In the second the tables were turned, Miss Nunnelley and Brown gaining the ascendancy by 6—l. They did even better in-the concluding game, winning by 6—l. In the final for the Ladies' Handicap Singles, Miss Nunnelly, owing 15, won easily from Miss Thomson, receiving 18.
