•'■' lii MASTERTON TOWN HALL. The concert held in the Masterton Town Hall last evening in connection with the Wairarapa Caledonian Society was a huge success, the Hall being crowded in all parts. The / concert opened with a march andvj-eel by Messrs W. Sutherland, !!. Mcßae, G. Laing,. and T. Pickett, which was followed by a solo entitled "There's a Land," rendered in fine style by Mr B. Mr Peter A. A delightful rendering j of "Caller Ou" was next given by Mrs Torrance, which was followed by 'Thorn," given in rare voice by Mr Parkes, whose encore number was "Absent, yet Present.'" Mr Kenny was equally as successful in the second part of the programme 1 as in the first, and his humorous sketches "Has it ever occurred to yQu" and "Directions in the book," were keenly appreciated.
