SALE OF JAPANESE ARMS. BRITAIN ENQUIRING. (Received Last Night, 9.40 o'clock.) TOKIO, December 30. The Japanese Government has sold to an Abyssinian agent 60,000 standard arms and 6,000,000 cartridges captured at Port Arthur during the Russo-Japanese war. These will shortly be shipped to Jibutil. Great Britain is anxiously enquiring into the matter.
