MARLBOROUGH TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph — Press Association. BLENHEIM, Last Night. The Marlborough lawn tennis championships and handicaps' were continued to-day, in perfect weather.. The results are:— Ladies' Singles.— First round: Mis A. Batham beat Miss Brewster. Second round. Miss M. Simpson beat Mrs Waddy, Miss Nunnelly beat Miss Baird, Miss Travers beat Miss M. Thomson, Miss Butterworth beat Miss V. Simpson, Miss Wollwood beat Miss Butterworth. Men's Championship Singles.— Second round: J. Smythe beat F. M. B. Fisher (Fisher retired), E. W. Griffiths beat H. Bradmore, Parker beat G. Smythe, Brown beat E. Griffiths. Third round: Parker beat E. W. Griffiths. Ladies' Doubles Championship.—First round: Miss Travers and Miss Well wood beat Misses Thomson (2), Miss Baird and Miss Nunnelly beat Miss Batham and Miss Simpson. Second round: Miss Nunnelly and Miss Baird beat Miss Brewster and Miss Simpson, Miss Travers and Miss Wellwood beat Miss Ledger" and Miss Butterworth. Combined Doubles Championship. —First round: Miss Butterworth and Didsbury beat Mrs Marchbank and G. Smythe; Miss Ledger and V. Prouse boat Miss Bell and Dr. Bennett. Second round: Miss Travers and Fisher beat Miss Butterworth and Didsbury. ■ Men's Handicap Singles (first grade).—Second round: J. Brock beat L. Griffiths, H. Brown beat F. M. B. Fisher, Brown beat Prouse. Men's Handicap Singles (second grade).— Second round: Hirst beat Broad, Fathers beat Pattie. Third round: Hale beat Fathers, Jenkins beat G. Horton. Men's Handicap Doubles.— First round: Hirst ,and Maddox beat Jenkins and Jackson, Peacock and Didsbury beat Griffiths Bros. Second round: Peacock and Didsbury beat Hirst and Maddox. Combined Handicap Doubles—Second round: Miss Ledger and Parker beat Miss Thomson and .Fathers; Mrs Menlove and Van Asche beat Miss Clark and Clark, Griffiths and Miss Simpson beat Miss Newton and Jenkins, Miss Baird and Fisher beat Miss Penny and Hale. Ladies' Doubles Handicap.— Second round: Miss Brewster and Miss V. Simpson were beaten by Miss Bell and Miss Maginnity. Men's Championship Doubles.— First round: Fisher and Smythe beat Prouse and M. Wiffen, Parker and Brown beat Peacock and Didsbury. Ladies' Champion Singles, second round: Miss V. Simpson beat Miss Bathan. Ladies' Handicap Singles.— Miss Nunnelly beat Miss M.
