Nelson crickot match was continued to-day in unfavourable weather, and the wicket showed signs of wearing, and hatting was difficult at times. Wanganui scored 174 (K. H. Cave 44, Lnxford 38, H. B. Cave 28, Smith 27, Faber 12) in their first innings, and following on made 138 (Lnxford 27, L. P. Cave 34, Howard 18, Atkinson 13) for seven wickets. , Nelson scored 300 in their first innings. The match was drawn.
