TIMARU CALEDONIAN SOCIETY.
TIMARU, Last Night. Entries for the championship meeting of the South Canterbury Caledonian Society constitute a record in the history of the Society,, and far exceed the most sanguine anticipations. At a meeting of directors' to-night it was announced that the best athletes in the Dominion would all be present, as well as some from outside, and the meeting will probably be the best of its k.nd ever held in New Zealand. Holway arrived at Timaru to-day.
