SHOCKING ACCIDENT.
CRUSHED BY A TRAIN. By Telegraph—Prom Association. PALMERSTON N., Last Night. Samuel McLeod was seriously injured this evening at the ,- railway station, when attempting to board a train when in 'He fell between the carriage and platform, and sustained a compound fracture of the right leg, a crushed chest, and three broken ribs. He at present lies at the hospital.
