THE OTHER SIDE.
When Mr Peter Bowling was ridiculing New. South Wales Labour Ministers in Masterton recently, not a few expressed the; opinion that the views of Ministers concerning Mr Bowling would be entertaining. The Attorney-General of New South Wales (Mr Holman), has arrived.in Wellington, and has had something to say •concernirig the egotistical Bowling. In an interview with the Post, Mr Holman said that Bowling, for years while the Labour Party was in a minority, urged on the people not to vote Labour, ancl to have nothing to do with the party, as it could do them no good. In the last three years, however, things have changed. Labour, despite this antagonism, has won two new seats in Newcastle^—<m indication, says Mr Holman, of a growing conviction that the Labour Government was the hope of the masses, and not Potcr Bowling. A logical consequence, he adds, was the. latter's deposition.
