THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.

The current programme at the Foresters' Hall has apparently met the public taste, judging by the crowded audience again present last evening. It was generally admitted to be the best series of pictures presented by the firm for some time, which is saying a good deal when the general excellence of past programmes is taken into consideration. This bill-of-farc will be presented for tho last time this evening. There will be a special matinee this afternoon. On Alonday, Tuesday and Wednesday next another holiday programme wiil bo submitted, which will include a wide range of subjects suitable to all tastes. The dramas will be par-: ticularly strong in merit, the chief ones being "A Salutary wesson," "A Broken Symphony," "By Faith of a Child," and "A Cowboy's Stratagem." These studies have drawn crowded houses when they have V been shown in the cities. Among the scenics is a' beautiful film entitled "From Interlaken to Briez," giving glimpses of the splendid scenery of Switzerland. The comics are certainly holiday budget of laugh-ter-makers, and tho favourite comedians now so well-known to patrons of the Foresters' Hall are seen at their best. Tho remainder of the pictures go to make up what may be termed "a grand holiday programme."
