FROZEN MEAT.

Mr W. D. Lysnar, Mayor of Gisborne, who has just returned from a visit to the Old Country, is doing excellent service to the Dominion by pointing out the defects in the handling of our frozen meat and produce at the other end. Mr Lysnar made diligent enquiry and close observations when in London, and he is satisfied that the producers of this country are losing heavily by the careless handling of our produce. If, by drawing attention to the matter in the right quarters, he can secure an improvement in the methods of handling, he will deserve the thanks of the whole of the farming community.
