' j Butter. —Market dull, buyers hold-; ing back expecting prices to go lower on account of the large supply and holders are anxious. Choicest New Zealand, 106s; Australian, 10"?;. Argentine, 102s; Danish, 116s; faiherian, 101s. Cheese. —Market quiet, but holders firm. White, 565; coloured. 57n. Hemp. —Market dull, with downward tendency. New good fair on spot, £2l 10s; fair grade, £2O 10s. Manila fair current, £l9 10s ; January-March shipments: New Zealand good fair. £2l; fair grade, £2O ss; Manila, fair current, £l9 10s.
