A SUBSTANTIAL FALL. Jn reply to a cable despatched to 'London by" the Wellington Farmers' Meat Company,'a cable was received late on Monday stating that, owing to the record shipment of lamb, from Australia, which was now afloat, -f^ K and heavy shipment from Argentine, the prices ex-ship for January shipments have receded to 5d per lb. for lamb and 3|d for prime quality mutton. This is* equivalent to a . -drop of Jd per lb. on lamb and id wethers.
