LISBON, December 19. The number of cholera cases reported in Madeira is decreasing. Of 864 cases, 265 have proved fatal.
CONSTANTINOPLE, Dec. 19
The number of cholera cases is increasing, and now avei'ages forty daily.
There have been 1036 cases since the plague first appeared. Of these, 595 proved fatal.
