FERNRIDGE SCHOOL.
ENTERTAINMENT AND PRESENTATION OF PRIZES.
Notwithstanding the unfavourable weather some twenty to thirty adults attended at the Fernridge School on Thursday afternoon on the occasion of the vacation entertainment and the presentation of prizes and attendance certificates. The chairman (Mr Henry Evans) presided, and in a few well-chosen words welcomed the visitors. Miss Marjorie Gawith, the Dux of the school, then took the chair until the entertainment programme had been presented, after winch Mr Evans invited .Mrs N. G. Perry to present the attendance and proficiency awards purchased from the proceeds of the recent school concert. The following gained rewards :
