CLEARING SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held a blearing sale of dairy stock, etc., on Wednesday, 14th inst., on account of Mr Geo. Lord, of Eketahuna. The cows offered) were a fair average lot, and ranged in prices from £3 10s to £9 15s,- making the satisfactory average price of £6 12s 6d. - Sundries sold at good values. PAHIATUA STOCK SALE, Messrs Ahraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows: — We submitted a heavy yarding of both sheep and cattle to a large attendance. With the exception of one or two pens, we made a total clearance. AH classes of sheep were in strong demand, realising extra good values. Cattle also met strong competition, young cattle being keenly sought after. Quotations: —Aged woolly swes and lambs, 17s 3d; good woolly hoggets, 15s lid to 17s; small woolly hoggets, 13s; shorn ewes and lambs, lis 6d td SJrtooth wethers, lis 5d to 12s 9d; 2-tooth ewes, 13s to 13s 7dj" mixed two-tooths (small) 10s 8d; 3-year steers, £5 to £5 7s 6d; 2yr steers, £4 3s to £4 15s; yearling steers, £2 17s ttf £3 6s J dairy cows, £5 10s to £6; fat cows, £4 lis to" £5 ss; empty forward cows, £3 10s to £3 16s; cows and calves, £4; 2yr dairy heifers, £3 17s 6d to £4 ss; 15 and 18-month heifers, £B 3s to £3 10s; yearling heifers, 39s to"£2 ss; heifers in calf, £3 17s; mixed yearlings, £2 4s 6d; young bulls, £2 lis to £3 6s.
