REFRIGERATING RATES.
THE PROPOSED INCREASE. Received Last Night, 1] o'clock. SYDNEY, Last Night. Mr W. M. Hughes, Acting Prime Minister, reierring to the Engliah Underwriters increasing refrigerated rates, owing to Australian and New Zealand legislation, said he was at a loss to know what legislation was referred to. He knew oi' no jFederal legislation that affected the freights on oversea p'roduce. He "would like to have some details concerning the legislation that had created such a risk as necessitated an increase in premiums.
