INAUGURAL SHOW. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) 'STRATFORD, Last Night. The inaugural bhow of the Stratford A. and P. Association opened to-day in dull and showery weather, which somewhat affected the attendance. Entries, numbering over 1300, received, and the cattle classes, especially Jerseys, were very strong, with good all-round competition. The classes for grade or crossbred cows for dairying purposes, also produced a numerous entry, and competition was strong. The butter-fat competitor for cows milked in the Association's possession for nine days, and the test taken on the last four days, was won by Mr John Tucker, Taieke, with Mr R. D. Harkness, Ngaere, second, and 'J boa. Header, Stratford, third. The winner's fat production was 8.7121b5, the second cow's B.2B7lbs,aand the third 8.316 lbs.
