Play was slow, and each team batted carefully, and the batsmen endea\ T oured to keep up the wicket for Bardsley, who played beautifully. For South Australia Wright secured six wicktt's for 100. South Australia's scores total 841, 342 and 459 respectively, while New South Wales made 18(5 and 361.
