GORE A. AND P. SHOW.
(By Teles;rapii—Press Association.) GORE, Last Night. * '1 he Gore A . and P. annual show opened to-day in splendid weather. Judgingto-dayr was confined ,to the cattle, sheep and pigs. The exhibition of cattle, especially shorthorns and crossbreds, was the best seen here for many years. Hugh McIntyre, Benion, gained most points in crossbreds, and A. Aitken, Gore, exhibited the champion bull. John Campbell, Waikiwi, gained most , points in Ayrshire and he exhibited the champion cow. In the shorthorn classes R. K. Baird, Gore, had the champion bull, and fc D. Murray the champion cow. ■ The entry of sheep was 'arge, and are considered a fine lot. Ladbrook and Sons, Charlton, carried the majority of prizes in the Komney Marsh classes; U. P. Johnson, Gore, in Lincolns; A. Murdoch, Riversdale, ,in Border Leicesters, and English Leicesters.
