MASTERTON RACING CLUB.
MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of Mastertbn Racing Club was held Saturday afternon, there being present— Messrs■•C-; F. Vallance.chairman, A. Donald, D. Caselberg, 0, C. Cooper, G. H. Yates, C, A. Fownall, A. Reside, J. Macara, W. Piatt, A. J. Welch, Dorset, D. McLachlan and J. lorns. Mr W. D. E. Wanklyn forwarded an accident fee of £1 for Lady Dons, which had been-paid twice. Mr Wanklyn also advised that the embargo placed upon J. Dixon had been removed. The Chairman of the Conference of Country Racing Clubs forwarded a report of the proceedings at the meeting of delegates of country clubs held in Wellington on November 2ist. The, Programme Committee" was amhomed to draw up the programme for'the autumn meeting, allotting £IOOO over fourteen events. A proposal ofsMr Pownall that £1125 be allocated for the meeting was negatived. The Treasurer reported a'debifc ba'ance at the Bank of £236 4s Id. It was decided that the Chairman or some other member of the Ground Committee report to each meeting of the Stewards Accounts amounting to £159 15s were passed for payment.
